Setting:
Restaurant locations do not get much more glamorous than this. Watermarks quayside, open decked marina view is beautiful by day or by night. the restaurant's elegant minimalist interior is a perfect counterpoint to the million dollar boats moored only a few feet away.

Food:
Watermark's contemporary feel extends to the menu, cleverly designed to be read by table light. the Pacific Rim selections are skillfully combined with Thai flavours and herbs. Recommended dishes include mouth watering rare grilled tuna with pumpkin papaya salad and chilled soba noodles or fishcake salad with red curry dressing. Another good choice is Thai fishcake salad with red curry dressing. The light smoked salmon spaghetti with capers and goat's cheese is excellent, as well as tender Australian beef fillet with grilled pumpik and bacon hask potatoes. Cool jazz hums in the background as harbour lights flicker and an inshore breeze sets yacht masts tinkling. For dessert, Watermark features an elegant selection of tarts, mousses, cheese or fruit. Try warm strawberry tart with wild berries or chocolate cappuccino mousse.

Wine:
Compartmentalised into sections such as fresh and delightful, young and lively, big and bold, the wine list draws its inspirations from all over the world. from 880 baht to over 10,000 baht the price list is also cosmopolitan with something for everyone. A good selection. Both the Hawke's Bay chardonnay and the full bodied Beverford cabernet sauvignon complimented the meal well.

Service:
Very friendly, very capable, Watermark has high standards of recruitment and staff meets them admirably.
